Accountant (Part-time)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Wind Power LAB, the Copenhagen based member of the GEV Wind Power group has an exciting opportunity for a part-time company accountant.

Responsibilities:

To ensure the smooth running of the daily finance function, record and maintain accurate financial information and produce a range of financial and operational reports.

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments
  •  Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting tasks
  • Monitor cash flow and alert management to variances
  • Credit control
  • Administer monthly payroll including submission of tax and social insurance returns
  • Support year-end financial procedures and work with external accountants as needed
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial files
  • Handle client queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Identify and suggest process improvements for efficiency
  • Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc projects and compliance tasks

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting assistant, or similar role with at least 3 years’ experience

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping or accounting software (Sage, Xero or e-conomic,)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills (Danish and English)

Hours and Pay:

  • 20-25 hours per week
