Accountant (Part-time)
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Responsibilities:
To ensure the smooth running of the daily finance function, record and maintain accurate financial information and produce a range of financial and operational reports.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting tasks
- Monitor cash flow and alert management to variances
- Credit control
- Administer monthly payroll including submission of tax and social insurance returns
- Support year-end financial procedures and work with external accountants as needed
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial files
- Handle client queries in a professional and timely manner
- Identify and suggest process improvements for efficiency
- Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc projects and compliance tasks
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting assistant, or similar role with at least 3 years’ experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in bookkeeping or accounting software (Sage, Xero or e-conomic,)
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills (Danish and English)
Hours and Pay:
- 20-25 hours per week
